The Club was founded in 1974 in Worlington by Linda Porter-Cohen, who is now the club's President. We have our own showground, at Fordham, Cambs., approximately 5 miles north of Newmarket.

The club became affiliated to the British Horse Society in 1976.

Activities include Show Jumping competitions held monthly from March to October as well as Dressage and Dressage/Jumping competitions also monthly at which members can qualify in these disciplines for the club's Championships at the end of the season.

Members can also benefit from various training clinics including flatwork, show jumping and cross-country. The showground in Fordham is available on some evenings during the summer for members to school over the club's show jumps.

The Club holds three shows which are also open to non-members each year in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Classes at these shows are Junior and Senior Show Jumping, as well as Family Pony/Utility Horse, Veteran and Thoroughbred classes. All are unaffiliated classes.

Senior and Junior teams are entered in Area 14 competitions for all disciplines to qualify for the British Riding Clubs National Championships.

The club has many trophies to be won both at the open shows and in classes restricted to members at other competitions.
